Brought to us by XSEED Games, No More Heroes 3 and our wrestling-obsessed otaku has finally “touch downed” as a multiplatform title after being a Nintendo Switch exclusive for over a year.
Travis Touchdown returns in this final chapter to become the “number one assassin.” Only this time, the battles are otherworldly. You must battle your way to the top of the leaderboard against 10 galactic bosses, all to face the evil Prince FU for the number one spot. Do you have what it takes to top the Galactic Superhero Rankings?
Get ready to shake your beam katana and limber up for powerful wrestling moves! Travis returns more powerful than before, equipped with a Death Glove that allows you to insert ability-enhancing chips, taking your battles to the next level. With different beam katanas to unlock, new abilities to buy, and the Death Glove, Travis’s lethality has increased even more since we last saw him. But will it be enough to save Santa Destroy?
None of the upgrades and new katanas are cheap, though. You will be expected to do bizarre, odd jobs, like in the previous games, to earn some extra cash. These minigames will test your reflexes and patience, from mowing lawns, plunging toilets, and cleaning trash out of a river. Suplexing crocodiles is an option but most likely necessary to continue the job at hand.
The wait is over! No More Heroes 3 arrived on Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC via Steam on October 11th, 2022.
