After it’s success in the Japanese market, the charismatic adventure game Noel The Mortal Fate Season 1-7, developed by Kanawo and Vaka Game Magazine will now be getting a retranslated release in English and Simplified Chinese.
Recent Success
Since its serialization in Game Magazine began in 2016, Noel The Mortal Fate has proven to be extremely popular, amounting into a dedicated fanbase. Since then, Noel The Mortal Fate has entered into different mediums, with there being a comic version and novelization, the latter selling a mindboggling 310,000 copies!
As well as the comic and novelization, In 2019 a CD Drama was created based on the series featuring a selection of famous actors. As of more recent developments, there are plans of Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the adventure game to release in the near future.
The news of a retranslated release will open the world of Noel The Mortal Fate to new eager fans and give new fans direct insight into the minds of creator Kanawo, whilst also keeping faithful to the popular Japanese version. New players will be able to experience Noel The Mortal Fate in its truest form.
The Story?
Noel The Mortal Fate follows the adventures of a young pianist Noel Cerquetti who, after failing to win a piano competition, falls into a deep troubling depression.
After hearing of irregularities in the selection progress from the Mayor of Leplace, Mayor Burrows sends Noal to an abandoned building. There she meets the great devil Caron who she enters into a contract with to become the “true memorial ceremony pianist”. The contract ends horribly with Noel losing her arms and legs.
On the verge of certain death, the devil Caron saves Noel. Consumed with rage Noal and Caron agree to join forces and to seek ultimate revenge on the man dubbed the “pride of the citizens” – the mayor of LaPlace, Mayor Burrows. As they plot their revenge on the mayor, the pair encounter a variety of friends and foes along their adventures, accumulating in exciting battles and quirky missions.
Each season will introduce a variety of different characters to encounter who each have their own plans and personalities, which will constantly keep you at the edge of your seat. Each season also bring a variation of in-game features to enjoy, such as; casinos, strategy simulations, and hardcore battles.
Noel The Mortal Fate Season 1-7 will be available in English and Simplified Chinese on Steam from November 25th 2020, and is available to purchase at $14.99 (USD) and 50 won (CNY).
