Overwatch‘s developer, Blizzard, has begun banning those who decide to play against the rules.
While information was not given out regarding the volume of the bans, Blizzard has promised to make the community a better place by banning those who don’t respect the Terms of Use.
“We’ve recently taken action against Overwatch accounts worldwide which were found to be using cheat programs.” States Stephanie Johnson, Community Manager at Blizzard. “We’re committed to providing an equal and fair playing field for everyone in Overwatch, and will continue to take action against those found in violation of our Terms of Use.”
If you do catch any cheaters throughout your time playing Overwatch, make sure to flag them as such using the in-game report tool or by emailing [email protected].
Overwatch is currently available for the Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC
