The latest instalment of the popular and quirky Paper Mario games has been announced. Paper Mario: The Origami King is slated for release very soon, with a brand new slew of features and a whole new adventure crafted for us.
In this titular adventure, the Mushroom Kingdom has been ravaged by a Folded menace known as King Olly. It’s the job of some of the famous mario cast to take down this new threat. At times you will be required to work with unlikely allies such as like Bowser and the Toads to battle King Olly’s evil Folded Soldiers.
There is also a veritable smorgasbord of new gameplay features present in this title. For example, the 1000 Fold Arms ability enables you to extend your arms and interact with the environment as well as various puzzles. There is also a brand new ring based battle system. In this system you must line up scattered enemies and plan your attack to do maximum damage, using puzzle based gameplay as well as your reaction times.
The world of Paper Mario: The Origami King is full of detail, so be sure to explore it all. If you get bored of exploring, there are tons of mini-game events and countless mysteries to be solved. One such mystery is why Princess Peach is acting so strange.

Paper Mario: The Origami King releases on the Nintendo Switch on July 17th, 2020.
