Developers of turn-based strategy game Pathway, Robotality, have announced that the rip-roaring adventure will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch.
Robotality have gone on record as saying the version of Pathway making its way to the switch later this month is “the best and most complete version of Pathway.”
Pathway throws the player back in time into the mid-1930s, where the player must take command of wide range of interesting and diverse characters to stop the growing threat of Nazi influence.
The Nintendo Switch port will keep all the content from previous iterations, and will also include the games most recent expansions, Adventurer’s Wanted and Hardcore Mode.
Along with the addition of all post-release content, the Nintendo Switch version of the game will include brand-new tactics and abilities, a plethora of new narrative events, various new combat arenas, a brand-new loot system and completely new AI and various levels of game balancing.
Game Designer and Coder at Robotality, Stefan Bachmann, was delighted to be able to see the games smooth transition over to the Nintendo Switch. He stated “From day one we thought the game would be a perfect fit for the console. It took a lot of work to bring the game’s real-time lighting effects and pixel art to Switch, but we’re incredibly pleased with the results.”
Pathway will be making its way to Nintendo Switch on May 27th, 2021 and will retail for $15.99/€13.99, with the option to save 20% on the games retail price if reordered.
