PC Gamer have unveiled details of the upcoming PC Gaming Show, returning for E3 weekend. The show comes with a series of changes and surprises for viewers. This announcement came alongside a teaser video featuring PC Gamer’s Day [9].
The trailer is brief and shows Sean (Day [9]) Plott giving the announcement from a space ship and wearing a leather uniform clearly inspired by our Sci-Fi favourites. Furthermore, the 90 minute show will follow the theme and promises to be “more concentrated”, according to Evan Lahti of PC Gamer.
The theme of the show seems like it will be beyond what has been done before. According to PC Gamer, the show will be their highest end production to date and will be “taking place in outer space”. Viewers can look forward to plenty of homage to StarCraft, given Day [9]’s history as both a player and caster.
In addition, PC Gamer boasts a variety of exclusive content to be included. A partial line-up published includes exclusive beta content from Naraka Bladepoint, as well as the first reveal of Kasedo’s games latest project.
Further content to look forward to will include new content and announcements regarding Chivalry 2, Vampire: The Masquerade and Hello Neighbour 2. If you’re interested in coverage of Chivalry 2, make sure to check some of our past content here.
Finally, arguably the announcement that most viewers will be looking forward to the most is that from Sega and Amplitude Studios. Humankind is set for a “major announcement and reveal”. The historical strategy game comes highly anticipated and is set for a release in August 2021.
The PC Gaming Show will be streamed on a variety of platforms, including Facebook, Twitch and YouTube. The show will be live from June 13th, 2021 as part of the variety of content during E3. The show will begin at 2:30 PT/5:30 ET.
