One Step From Eden is a new grid strategy game developed by Thomas Moon Kang and published by Humble Games that is currently available on the Nintendo Switch and PC. The game combines strategic grid-based deck-building action with rouge-like elements, giving the player the choice to become merciful or a destroyer. PlayStation has accidentally released a launch trailer for the game, confirming it is coming to the PlayStation 4 platform soon.
The story takes place in a bleak post-war world filled with danger and loss. The only light shining through the darkness is the beacon of hope known as Eden. Create your character and embark on a journey, battle ruthless enemies, make friends and fight to reach Eden and save your world.
One Step From Eden features epic real time grid combat that is a bend of strategy and real time action. Players will have access to 9 playable characters with immense deckbuilding with 250+ spells and 150+ strategy changing artifacts. Alongside procedural generated levels with alternate runs, players will never experience the same battle twice.
The game also features multiplayer, through means of both Co-Op and PvP. So whether you want to squad up with a buddy to battle evolving enemies, or take each other on, you’ll have the choice!
Currently there is no confirmed release date for the PlayStation 4 launch of One Step From Eden, especially now that the trailer has been accidentally released and set to private on the official PlayStation YouTube channel. We’ll pop the original video link here in case it gets made public again in the future.
