Bethesda is bringing the next Prey to consoles and PC on May 5th, 2017.
We hadn’t heard much regarding information about Bethesda’s upcoming game since the reveal during their E3 Press Conference last year. A full synopsis of the game’s story is found below.
“When you awaken aboard Talos I, an immense space station orbiting the moon in the year 2032, you find yourself as the key subject of an experiment meant to alter humanity forever – but things have gone terribly wrong. The space station has been overrun by hostile aliens and you are now being hunted. As you dig into the dark secrets of Talos I and your own past, you must survive using the tools found on the station, your wits, weapons, and mind-bending abilities to defeat the Typhon alien threat.”
Pre-ordering a copy of Prey on either platform gets the Cosmonaut Shotgun Pack which contains two medkits, the fabrication plans to create the shotgun and matching ammo, supplies for building tools and weapons, and the ability to preserve select resources.
It was revealed some time ago that Prey 2 was in development, but was since canceled because Bethesda never saw “a path to success” if they had finished it.
Prey launches for the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC on May 5th, 2017.
