Prya & Mythra
The surprise fits the announcement trailer, where Pyra’s disappearance from the world of Alrest finds her announcing her introduction into Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in spectacular style.
The surprises don’t stop there, as Prya has the unique ability to seamlessly summon her counter-part Mythra, also confirming the introduction of the character to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The trailer showcases both characters swapping, a feature that will be do-able in-game.
Fighting Styles
During the trailer, we get a glimpse of some of the fighting styles we can expect from Pyra and Mythra. With the Aegis Swords, players can unleash devastating attacks on foes.
Using the Aegis Swords, Pyra can unleash attacks such as smash flare, flame nova, prominence revolt, and blazing end. Mythra can unleash her own attacks such as lighting buster, photon edge, ray of punishment, chrome dust, and foresight.
Even more, surprises!
The surprises don’t stop there, not even close. Known too well as ‘Gramps’ from Xenoblade Chronicles 2, the flying dragon makes his own appearance and is the setting for a cool new stage in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate!
While fighting it out on ‘gramps’ you will also be able to see the cast of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 who can be seen in the background.
Release
Pyra and Mythra will release as part of the Ultimate Fighters Pass Vol. 2 DLC in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in march 2021! The Ultimate Fighters Pass Vol. 2 DLC will also include fighters Min Min from the ARMS game, Steve & Alex from Minecraft, and Sephiroth from the FINAL FANTASY series, along with two yet-to-be-announced fighters.
