PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds‘ second map Miramar is releasing next month for the Xbox One.
The news comes from PAX East, where the game’s creator Brendan “PlayerUnknown” Green announced that Miramar will be headed to the Xbox One in May. The company tweeted out the announcement shortly after:

More information will roll out in the coming weeks, but some fans may not be thrilled with the map making an appearance on the console. When the map was released on PC, many players vented their frustrations out on public forums, asking that the developers add an option to select the map they play on upon entering the game.
PC players received the Miramar map in December, shortly following the game’s official release out of early access. Since then, more features have been added to the PC version of the game, including a whole new event mode designed to remix PUBG’s natural 100-player battle royale. So far, there has been no news on if this mode will make its way console-side.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is available for Xbox One, Android, and PC (via Steam).
