Red Dead Redemption has seen a massive increase in sales since the Backwards Compatibility announcement yesterday morning.
According to the retail’s ‘Movers and Shakers’ program, which lists their biggest growth in sales rank over 24 hours, the Xbox 360 version of Red Dead Redemption has gained more than 6,000% in sales. This can be contributed to the recent Backwards Compatibility announcement, with Red Dead Redemption being playable on Xbox One starting July 8th, 2016.
The Game of the Year edition which includes Red Dead Redemption’s expansion pack Undead Nightmare also saw 1,830% in growth at the time of press. Although it is unknown if the Undead Nightmare pack will be supported through Backwards Compatibility at this time.
Red Dead Redemption is currently available for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
