The remake to 1998’s Resident Evil 2 is receiving a demo ahead of it’s retail release, later this week.
Starting on January 11th, players can begin downloading the Resident Evil 2 “1-Shot” demo. Arming up as Leon S. Kennedy, the game’s protagonist, players only have 30 minutes to complete the challenges found in Raccoon City. That means 30 minutes to kick ass and kill zombies, with the challenge to complete the mission before the time is up. Should a player accomplish that, they will be able to restart and use the time remaining the enjoy the demo.
After the demo’s completion, gamers will be treated to a trailer of the full game, exclusive to the demo. While the demo itself can only be enjoyed once (Presuming you don’t make free accounts to continue enjoying it), the trailer can be replayed an infinite amount of times.
Resident Evil 2 releases for the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC on January 25th, 2019.
