Prey 2 might be re-announced for next-generation platforms.
In an article announcing that Bethesda’s DOOM will not be sent to retail outlets before launch, Kotaku’s Jason Schreier stated that Prey 2 would be making an appearance at E3. While this is something that has yet to be confirmed, this could be one of the announcements that Bethesda is hiding in their sleeves until their press conference on Sunday, June 12th, 2016.
Schreier states “All I’ve heard is that they’re announcing it at E3! I’m not 100% sure, though. I do know it’s codenamed Danielle and under development at Arkane Austin. And this is a totally new Prey 2 (it might even be called something else now), not the one we saw in 2011 from Human Head.”
Bethesda officially cancelled Prey 2 in 2014 stating “It wasn’t up to our quality standard and we decided to cancel it.” Prey 2 was previously in development for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.
