A report from DarkSideGaming reveals that Halo 5: Guardians may be coming to Windows 10 PC’s in the very near future.
The source of the rumor originates from NeoGaf user ‘Enter The Dragon Punch’, a known industry insider who has confirmed the existence of the recently rumored The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Remastered. According to this individual, Halo 5: Guardians is currently in development for Windows PC’s.
“I have it on good authority from multiple sources that Halo 5 will be coming to PC.”
Users on the Neogaf thread have commented that they would prefer Halo: The Master Chief Collection to be released on PC instead, as the game provides more value per dollar. This would be a great idea, especially if 343 Industries can get around the problems they had with Halo: The Master Chief Collection when it launched on the Xbox One in 2014.
What makes this information odd is that Microsoft has already announced Halo 5 Forge Mode for Windows 10 PC’s – Something which would be completely nullified if Halo 5: Guardians were released on mouse and keyboard platforms. Not only this, but Microsoft has already straight out denied the fact that Halo 5: Guardians would be making it’s way to PC, so take all of this information with a grain of salt.
Halo 5: Guardians is currently available for the Xbox One.
