In the days leading up to E3 2016, rumors having been growing rampant – with the latest rumor being a sequel to Injustice: Gods Among Us.
NetherRealm Studios creative director Ed Boon updated his Twitter photo on June 4th, 2016 with a very cynical “II”, which is the roman numeral for the number ‘2’. Fans have been speculating that this may be a subtle hint to a sequel of 2013’s Injustice: Gods Among Us, one of the many games that Ed Boon has worked on. Of course, when challenged on it, Ed Boon replied that it may be hinting towards Mortal Kombat 11, however, if you see the picture below, it is quite noticeably an “I” and not a “1”.
