A sequel to Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale may be in development if pictures are to be believed.
If true, Playstation All-Stars Stadium will be the name of the sequel, releasing exclusively for the Playstation 4 and Playstation 4 Pro. While the pictures are blurry, we can make out characters Ratchet (Ratchet & Clank), Drake (Uncharted), and what looks like Aloy (Horizon: Zero Dawn) in the promotional material.
At this point, Sony has not made any announcement whether or not a sequel to Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale is in development. This is a good reminder to take this information with a grain of salt until Sony officially announces something. GeekReply sources NeoGaf for the Playstation All-Stars leak, but no link to the leak has been posted for proof.
Sony’s brawler has less than stellar reviews, with the game sitting at a 74 on Metacritic at the time of this writing. A sequel to the game should help fix many of the issues experienced with the first game, but until we hear directly from Sony about the game’s announcement, we won’t know anything about upcoming changes. If this leak holds water, we should hear the game’s official announcement during Sony’s E3 Press Conference in June.
Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale is available for the Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita.
