This year during Bethesda’s E3 conference, during a segment featuring Todd Howard, a complete remastering of The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One was announced, displaying ravishing graphics and fantastic imagery.
Skyrim’s remastering will feature remastered art and effects, volumetric god rays, dynamic depth of field, screen-space reflections, new snow and water shaders, and the ability to play mods on consoles. This should only add to the game’s experience, enhancing it through means of enhanced visuals and the ability to participate in the mod community on console rather than on just PC.
Expect to see Skyrim in full remastering on Playstation 4 and Xbox One on October 28th.
