Despite all odds being against the platform, especially with Xbox’s Project xCloud now on the game streaming market, Stadia seems to be getting some new titles, one being Sniper Elite 4, developed and published by Rebellion Developments.
Set in the aftermath of its award-winning predecessor, Sniper Elite 4 transports players across the beautiful Italian peninsula, from sun-drenched Mediterranean coastal towns, to ancient forests, mountain valleys and colossal Nazi megastructures.
You, the player, must step into the shoes of covert agent and elite marksman Karl Fairburne to fight alongside the brave men and women of the Italian Resistance. Your goal? To defeat a terrifying new threat with the potential to halt the Allied fightback in Europe before it’s even begun.
You will encounter hours of gripping gameplay in huge campaign levels with hundreds of enemies, vehicles and high-ranking Nazi officers to hunt. Forge your own path to your objectives, uncover new sniper nests, find secret side missions, collectibles and more.
Not only does it have a great campaign, you can also take Sniper Elite’s trademark sharpshooting into unique competitive play for up to 12 players in 6 modes across 6 custom-designed maps. Even more modes and maps have been released for free after the games initial launch.
In Sniper Elite 4, you will be able to experience the genre-defining rifle ballistics where snipers must take account of wind, gravity and heart rate to land satisfying shots over hundreds of meters. You can take your shots, but you better make them count.
Sniper Elite 4 is as of this article available to play on Google Stadia, so long as you have the Stadia membership to stream the title. Well, what are you waiting for? Get your boots on the ground, and good hunting.
