Game developers are getting into the Halloween spirit with new content leaked for Splatoon 2 and Fortnite.
Splatoon 2 is supposedly receiving some Halloween-inspired content in the coming days. Officially announced on Twitter, the “Splatoween” content will include new gear, Halloween-themed maps, and new outfits for some of the game’s notable characters. A new Splatfest titled “Trick vs. Treat” is scheduled to take place from Friday, October 19th, to Sunday, October 21st.
Otherwise, not officially announced, but leaked, was Fortnite’s Halloween content, presumably rolling out in the next few days. A collection of Halloween content was found by Twitter user @TwoEpicBuddies, who is famous for leaking unannounced Fortnite content. In his tweet, he shows off a variety of skins, including a new “TPose” emote, designed to fit in perfectly with the new epic skins.
The two new epic skins (Shown below) are Hay Man (Male), and Straw Ops (Female), but details on retrieving them have yet to be mentioned.
At this time, only the Splatoon 2 “Splatoween” content has been officially announced. We will be sure to update this article once the official announcement lands for Fortnite.
