It has been a long time since we have seen anything regarding Sam Fisher, the highly decorated Navy SEAL and former CIA paramilitary ops/clandestine officer from the Splinter Cell games.
We haven’t even gotten a new installation in the franchise since 2013, with the last entry being Splinter Cell: Blacklist. However, Ubisoft is letting us know that they have not forgotten about the iconic franchise and its main protagonist.
On August 11th, 2020, Ubisoft announced that Sam Fisher will be joining team Rainbow in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, the popular tactical shooter that took the world by storm.
They released a teaser for Sam Fis—I mean, Specialist Zero, with Zero leaving an ominous message; “You should know better than to write me off, consider this a teaching moment.”
While Ubisoft had only showed off a very tiny bit of what’s to come, they will be giving us a full reveal on August 16th, at around 11:00 AM PDT/2:00 PM EDT, so be sure to set your alarm clocks.
If you haven’t bought Rainbow Six Siege yet, you will be delighted to know it is on all platforms. You can get it on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. If you have been missing playing as our favourite super-spy, now is your chance.
