Activision is bringing all three classic Spyro titles to the Playstation 4 and, for the first time, Xbox One on September 21st, 2018.
This announcement came among many rumors that Spyro would receive a remastered collection on current-generation platforms. The original Playstation classics – Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon – are all releasing with remastered visuals and sound in late September. Alongside this, Xbox One X and Playstation 4 Pro users will be treated to 4K visuals, a first for our purple hero.
This trilogy is available for pre-order now and retails for $39.99 USD. A trailer of the announcement can be viewed below, although owners of Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy for the Playstation 4 can input the code up, up, down, down, left, left, right, square via the main menu to view the same trailer.
