The Director and Producer of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, Naoki Yoshida, has stated that he is interested in porting the widely popular MMO game to the Xbox One and unreleased Nintendo NX.
This would be a very large decision to make on Square Enix’s side as they would have to allocate an entire team dedicated to working on the ports. If it does happen, these versions would join the PS3, PS4 and PC versions that have already been released. This announcement is extended from his statement of the possibility of Dragon Quest X and Dragon Quest XI being ported the Nintendo NX as well.

“With the announcement that Square Enix is considering a Nintendo NX port of Dragon Quest XI and Dragon Quest X, Yoshida-san also gave some details on the possibility of that consideration to be extended to Final Fantasy XIV.” Said Dualshockers.com.
