EA has confirmed that Star Wars Battlefront will feature dedicated servers upon all platforms.
The recent announcement regarding the skill-based matchmaking service to be included in Star Wars Battlefront has left speculation around the web that the game would not support dedicated servers. When asked about this feature in an interview with PlaystationLifestyle.net, Lead Heroes Designer Jamie Keen revealed that dedicated servers would be part of the full retail release:
“We’ll still have dedicated servers. Absolutely. It’s one of the hallmarks of making sure we deliver an unparalled online servers for the game.”
Star Wars Battlefront is set to launch on November 17th, 2015 for the Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC.
