The newest retro game in Arcade Archives, SUNSETRIDERS, is now available to download. Persevering history is always important, especially in video games. Arcade Archives has added a new addition to its collection, the Konami four player action shooter SUNSETRIDERS.
Created by Hamster Corporation, Arcade Archives is a collection of games that emulates retro arcade games from a variety of different console generations. From Nintendo to Konami, from the 1980s to the early 2000s, they have many games. Originally they mainly focused on Neo Geo arcade games before adding Nintendo games to their collection.
Some of the games in their library (non-exclusives) includes arcade classics such as: Castlevania, Ninja Gaiden 1, Karate Champ, Gradius , Frogger, the first two Double Dragons, Athena and of course the newest addition, SUNSETRIDERS.
SUNSETRIDERS is a simple 4 player action shooter gun cabinet game, created and released by Konami in 1991 that takes place in the Old West in America. You play as one of four gunmen, out to claim the grand prize that seems to be linked to Sir Richard Rose, a rich elegant outlaw. The game released on home console such as the Sega Megadrive/Genesis and the Super Nintendo.
SUNSETRIDERS is a very simple game, as you and three other players from around the world compete by shooting up a small western town in order to get the highest score. An easy game to understand, replayability with changing difficulties and can be incredibly competitive with the right players. It’s also a great casual couch party game with three friends.
