There are a handful of games that people missed out on during the Wii-U days. Fortunately, Nintendo has ported most of them to the Nintendo Switch, otherwise they may have faded into obscurity. The next game is already revealed, but now Nintendo has shown more of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury.
As the tile suggests, Super Mario 3D World comes with a brand-new game, Bowser’s Fury. What this addition to the beloved game would bring was unclear; with the release of a new trailer, some details of what the game entails are out.

One of the more intriguing aspects of the trailer is the massive ink-like Bowser (complete with metal-ish music). That Mario appears to be wearing a golden cat suit of some kind only makes it all the more Nintendo! Even stranger, Mario appears to be working alongside Bowser Jr throughout the levels.
“We hope players enjoy pouncing their way through two great Mario adventures,” said Dom Gross, Nintendo of Canada’s General Manager.
Nintendo didn’t stop there, either. They announced the first new colour for the Nintendo Switch console as a red-and-blue colour scheme. It comes with red Joy-Con’s and blue straps, a blue Joy-Con grip, a red Nintendo Switch dock, and a red console. It will also come with a stylized Mario carrying case and a screen protector.
Nintendo will also release two new Amiibo figures (Cat Mario and Cat Peach), while re-releasing the Amiibo’s for Bowser and Bowser Jr. All of them will be available at select retailers with the release of the game.
If that isn’t enough Mario, Super Mario Bros. 35 is having a World Count Challenge. Players from all over can work together in Super Mario Bros. 35 to accomplish tasks during a specific time-frame. It will be held three times from January until March.
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury will release on February 12th, 2021 for the Nintendo Switch.
