Nintendo has announced that the Nintendo 3DS will start receiving Super Nintendo games via the 3DS e-shop.
Games such as F-Zero, Super Metroid and Pilotwings were all announced and will be releasing later today. These titles will be playable in their original form, just like when they were released on the Super Nintendo, years ago. More titles will be added on March 24th, when Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario Kart and Earthbound will join the lineup along with The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Super Metroid and Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy’s Quest on April 14th, 2016.
This is just the start though, with more Super Nintendo titles planned to be released in the future.
