Since 2014, industry professional Geoff Keighly began running The Game Awards, a celebration of the gaming industry. This is where developers are rewarded for their hard work throughout the year, with previews, announcements, and plenty of new trailers to whet a gamer’s appetite. Last year, Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild took the Game of the Year prize, with PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Super Mario Odyssey, and Horizon: Zero Dawn as runner-ups. Tickets on sale starting this Friday.
