Team Ico’s and genDesign’s The Last Guardian has finally gone gold.
The popular term “Going Gold” refers to the game being finished and sent off to manufacturers for production. This is an important milestone for the game as it has gone through development hell over the last few years.
With the game now officially being produced for consumers, we shouldn’t see any more delays. During Sony’s Press Conference at this year’s E3, the development team announced that the game would be released on October 25th, however, it was delayed until December to squish unforeseen bugs found throughout development.
The Last Guardian releases on December 9th, 2016 for the Playstation 4.
