Nintendo kicked off their E3 Digital Treehouse Stream by revealing the much anticipated new Zelda game’s title: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Breath of the Wild breaks the traditional Zelda naming conventions of using a character or item’s name in the subtitle of the game (see Majora’s Mask, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Link’s Awakening, etc.). Instead the focus is on how deep and expansive the world is.
Following the name reveal was close to 7 hours worth of gameplay footage showing off a tiny portion of the entire game; all of which we will be summarizing soon.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is slated for release this coming March for Wii U and Nintendo’s codenamed NX.
