A brand new Tetris game is now available to play on mobile devices! The forever popular and addictive puzzle game is back with a brand new game for mobile devices. With it a brand new idea never attempted before in the history of the iconic game. I don’t need to go into detail on what Tetris is about, we have all played it, so let’s go over the features to this version.
First up is Tetris Prime-time, the newest idea in the franchise. This is a real time nightly game show where you play against other players to win real cash prizes. A very interesting concept and one that feels like a combination of Takashi’s Castle and Tetris, complete with a host named Millen Baird.
Next up is Tetris Royal. It’s no secret battle royal games are still around and following the success of Tetris 99, this mode is making its return. Continuing on is Tetris Together, this is simply the two or four player mode where you compete with friends or family members, but because this is online, you can also use the in game voice chat to talk to each other or do some trash talking.
Finally we have Tetris Marathon, the classic, where it all began, the mode where you play solo and try to get the highest score possible and try to dominate the leaderboards.
For a mobile game there is a lot of content, but let’s say you want a more retro style, well you can have it. You can change the game’s skin to many different designs of Tetris, from the classic black and whites of the Gameboy, the simple 8-bit style of the NES, a cartoon one where the blocks are made up of cute little living blocks, or even a simple crisp prime coloured style.
