Developer and Publisher Spokko have announced a release date in a trailer. The mobile game is an addition to the popular fantasy franchise by CD Projekt Red. The Witcher: Monster Slayer marks a new direction as the franchise moves to the mobile platform.
The brief trailer gave some cinematic footage alongside a reveal of the official release date. In addition, the trailer shows some common monsters known for any player of The Witcher series. Finally, the trailer concludes with the announcement that google play users can pre-register for the game, allowing them to play from release.
What is The Witcher: Monster Slayer?
Furthermore, Spokko has announced that those who do pre-register will receive the Kaer Morhen Steel Sword upon release. Spokko has handled the entirety of The Witcher: Monster Slayer and has been part of the CD Projekt Red family since 2018.
The Witcher: Monster Slayer is set long before the time of the console games based around the adventures of Geralt, also known as The White Wolf. Playing on mobile, you will adventure throughout the real world, which is transformed into the fantasy setting of The Witcher.
Moreover, the time period is long before established Witcher schools. Thus, it is up to the players to deal with the fantasy lands ravaged with monsters in RPG-inspired combat. In addition, you can display trophies of the various monsters in-game, showing off your prowess at defeating rare and powerful enemies.
