Bandai Namco is teaming up with CD Projekt RED to bring The Witcher’s Geralt of Rivia to Soulcaliber VI.
Equipped with his swords, Geralt of Rivia will be fully playable in Soulcalibur VI when it arrives later this year. The announcement came from a gameplay trailer showing off his many combat styles in-game, for which we have attached after the break. It is not yet known if Geralt will be exclusive to a specific platform, but right now it appears that he will invade the Playstation 4 version of the game.
This isn’t the first time a character from another series has been included in a Soulcalibur title. The Nintendo Gamecube version of Soulcalibur II featured Link from the Legend of Zelda series while the Xbox 360 version of Soulcaibur IV had Yoda from the Star Wars franchise appear in playable form.
Soulcalibur VI is coming to the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC later this year.
