Two new characters will be joining the roster in Arc System Works’ Dragon Ball FighterZ. V-Jump (via Gematsu) has announced the details in their latest issue, although pricing and release date have yet to be announced.
Broly and Bardock, two popular Saiyan warriors from the Dragon Ball universe will join the roster. Fans familiar with Broly will know him from the Dragon Ball animated films, who appeared as a Saiyan with intense strength, surpassing Goku’s power level when they were just infants. Since this time, Broly has had a deep hatred for Goku, and he returns in Dragon Ball FighterZ as a playable character to settle the score.
Bardock, Goku’s father, is not nearly as strong as his offspring, but can still hold his own when it comes to defending himself. This Saiyan looks strikingly similar to our Dragon Ball star Goku, but with a scar located on the side of his face.
It is not yet clear if these characters will be made available for individual purchase, but it is safe to assume that both characters will be offered through the game’s season pass.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is now available for the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.
