Ubisoft have revealed their post-launch plans for the upcoming title, Far Cry 6. Besides the exciting season pass, Far Cry 6 unveiled more of it’s post-launch roadmap. All which will bring Far-Cry fans a fresh experience after the game’s release.
The season pass will immerse players into the minds of legacy Far Cry villains consisting of Vaas Montenegro, Pagan Min, and Joseph Seed. Players will overcome the struggle to escape the horrors of their own minds. Starting off with a mere pistol, players will discover new weapons and power ups to learn more about the series’ iconic foes.
The Season pass includes 3 DLC episodes consisting of Episode 1: “Vaas: Insanity”, Episode 2: “Pagan: Control”, and Episode 3: “Joseph: Collapse”. All playable Solo and Co-op with a friend, even if they don’t own the season pass.
These episodes will start releasing on November 2021, January 2022, and March 2022 respectively. Additionally, PC Season Pass owners will recieve Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon. However, Stadia and console versions will only recieve Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon: Classic Edition. The season pass will also come with a Blood Dragon Set, which include an outfit named Blood Dragon Gear Set, AJM9 and Kobracon weapons, the AJM9 and Kobracon vehicles, a KillStar weapon charm, a Blood Dragon vehicle chibi, and a K-9000 for hire.
Additionally, the everlasting fight for a free Yara will continue with the addition of free content. Consisting of Weekly Insurgencies, giving players a new threat every week while obtaining new gear upon completion, Six special Operations which players snatch chemical weapons to the extraction point before it overheats; all taking place on unique areas. Finally, Three Crossover Missions starring the foes of the season pass’ DLC episodes.
Ubisoft revealed Far Cry 6 will continue to provide new experiences way after the game’s release on October 7th, 2021. The game will release on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Stadia, Amazon Luna, and Windows PC.
