Toby Fox’s Undertale is finally making it’s way to the Nintendo Switch on September 15th, 2018.
Releasing exactly three years since it’s release for PC (Via Steam), Japan will see Undertale’s release in September, with a North American release date yet to be confirmed. The game will see a release in physical and digital format, with the game already available for pre-order from Amazon Japan. In addition to the physical release, Undertale will receive the Collector’s Edition treatment on the Nintendo Switch, including a bunch of extra goodies to complement the players’ experience.
Including a physical copy of the game, the Collector’s Edition also contains a 14-carat gold pendant alongside a Two-CD Soundtrack. Also included is one of six randomly selected bookmarks and one of three collectible cloths, which may turn some collector’s off as it doesn’t include all of the assorted items.
With the Nintendo Switch, the console is not region-locked, so if the game doesn’t arrive by September 15th in North America, gamers should be given the opportunity to purchase either version of the game despite the regional differences.
Undertale is available for Playstation 4, Playstation Vita, and PC.
