September is the beginning of the AAA releases for 2018.
The month sees major exclusives releasing for the Playstation 4 which include Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age and Spider-Man releasing in the month’s first week.
The Nintendo Switch continues their third-party support with releases of NBA 2K19, SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy, Valkyria Chronicles 4, and FIFA 19. Another notable release includes Dragon Ball FighterZ debut on the Nintendo Switch, a long-awaited fighting game already available for the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.
Microsoft isn’t receiving any exclusives this month, but multi-platforms Shadow of the Tomb Raider, NHL 19, and NBA Live 19 will release for the Xbox One. Besides that, racing fans are still waiting until October when Forza Horizon 4 releases on October 2nd, 2018.
Strangely enough, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 owners will see a new release this month, with FIFA 19 releasing on nearly every platform. Ubisoft’s Just Dance 2019 is the next game to release on the legacy platforms, which even include the Nintendo Wii. Yeah, you read that right. Nintendo’s console released in 2006.
