Ubisoft has officially announced the release date for Watch Dogs 2.
Following multiple leaks, Watch Dogs 2 will take place in San Francisco and feature the new protagonist, Marcus Holloway. Marcus is part of the hacking group Dedsec, a group of hackers who use internet memes and the art of trolling to fight for what is right by taking down mega-corporations.
Ubisoft has really been focusing this time around on making Watch Dogs 2 a customized experience for the player. No matter your play style, you can take control of situations depending on how you want to play. Whether you like hacking into everything, ‘stealthily’ taking down your enemies or running and gunning, there is a play-style to match you.
While little detail was given regarding the online experience for Watch Dogs 2, Ubisoft did mention that co-operative play would be possible in the game’s online universe. Whether it is with a friend or a complete stranger, players will be able to join alliances and take control of the city with a team of hackers.
The development team has been listening to the cries and concerns of fans from the original Watch Dogs game and have been using feedback to help make Watch Dogs 2 better. One small part of improving the game was made with the vehicle mechanics. Vehicles are said to be a lot more responsive and accessible than the original Watch Dogs title, making for a better player experience.
Watch Dogs 2 is scheduled to launch on the Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC on November 15th, 2016.
