It’s been another fantastic week here at Informed Pixel, and as you may have noticed, we’ve gotten a facelift! On top of that, there have been some great and exciting news that we’ve covered! So, as this is the Weekly News Roundup, let’s get caught up!
VTuber News
LazuLight consists of three different VTubers. Pomu Rainpuff, Elira Pendora and Finana Ryugu. They’re all pretty new VTubers, and our own Jordan Wharton did an exclusive interview with them! Take a look at the complete interview here!
Popular VTuber group NIJISANJI is set to release their album ‘Virtual Strike’ in conjunction with their 3rd-anniversary project ‘PALETTE’ according to a recent announcement by ANYCOLOR Inc. NIJISANJI EN’s Vtuber Finana Ryugu will also feature on the album as she is set to lend her vocals for the albums English release. Take a look at the info here!
Horror on Pixel Street
The Lovecraftian survival horror game Song of Horror has released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox consoles. Initially releasing on PC in 2019 to high critical acclaim, the console release is accompanied by a new launch trailer. Learn more about the horror release here!
Zombies have taken on all kinds of other beings. They’ve battled plants, they’ve invaded the Wild West, and now they’re back. Only this time, they’re going after their natural enemies– hackers. Take a look at the new Watch Dogs Legion of the Dead here!
Exciting Game News!
Announcing a new partnership with PlayVS, Nintendo will be putting a trio of games up for “varsity athletics” in the next school year. The games include Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Splatoon 2, two of the more popular Switch titles. Take a look to learn more about the beautiful program here!
Super Animal Royale has landed onto Xbox Game Preview, where players can enjoy an early-access version of the game before it launches later this year. The arrival of the work-in-progress battle royale was broadcasted by its adorably murderous launch trailer. It looks hilariously fun, so make sure to check out our coverage to learn more!
