Welcome back, Guardians. Xur has once again graced us with his presence, and with that, a slew of Exotics for us to collect.
Xur will be located in his cubby on the right lower side of the catwalk in the Reef. Turn right after the vaults, head down and you cant miss him.
This week he is selling the following:
–Chest Of Alpha Lupi – Titan chest – 13 Strange coins
–Young Ahamkara’s Spine – Hunter gauntlets – 13 Strange coins
– Heart Of Praxic Fire – Warlock chest
–Suros Regime – Exotic auto rifle – 23 Strange coins
–Legacy Engram – 31 Strange coins
This week doesn’t offer us anything new that we don’t already have. Though 3 of the 4 are a “must have” if you don’t already. The Chest Of Alpha Lupi is a staple exotic for PVP matches such as Trials Of Osiris. It allows you to quickly revive teammates and give you extra orbs upon super kills. Though the receive speed has been nerfed it is still a very viable option and can mean the difference between a win or loss.
Next we have my personal favourite Hunter exotic. The Young Ahamkara’s Spine allows hunters an extra trip mine grenade and a longer charge on said grenade. Having trip mine grenades that can also stick to your enemies is viable in both PVP and PVE. They are a blast to use and if used correctly can be deadly to the enemy.
The Heart Of The Praxic Fire is mediocre. It gives you an extra solar grenade for Sunsinger Warlocks. I dont find this useful for you can already get your seccond grenade in the skill tree. To sacrafice your exotic slot for something you can get for free is not worth it in my opinion. Though it does have a very neat look to it. Almost reminds me of the English Templars during the Crusades.
Last we have the Suros Regime. Not much I can say about this auto rifle that hasn’t already been said on here. Its a solid weapon for both PVP and PVE. You can either go the slow ROF or the increasing ROF. I usually go with the Low ROF. It allows the reticle to stay on target and deal high impact damage. By the time your enemy realizes he needs to fire back it’s too late.
