Blizzard is bringing World of Warcraft back to its roots, next year.
In Summer 2019, World of Warcraft’s classic servers are returning to patch 1.12: Drums of War, originally released in 2006. The servers will remain intact, exactly as the patch did when it shipped over 12 years ago. Of course, World of Warcraft Classic is available at no extra charge to the World of Warcraft subscription, so active players can jump in the moment it launches.
Fans who have purchased the Blizzcon 2018 Virtual Ticket have immediate access to the game’s demo, available right now via the Battle.net launcher.
Will you be returning to World of Warcraft Classic once the servers are released? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
