Update 3:34 PM – It appears that Xbox Live is back up and running. Xbox One owners that are still having issues connecting are advised to hard reset their console.
Original: Xbox Live services are experiencing some outages right now, causing problems on the Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Windows 10 PC.
Some gamers are unable to login to their gaming platforms, causing a disturbance for many, especially those wishing to continue their progress through Mass Effect: Andromeda. Players who purchased games digitally may run into issues when trying to access their games library, especially if they haven’t set their Xbox One console as their home Xbox.
The official Xbox Live Service Status page made the following statement: “Our engineers and developers are actively continuing to work to resolve the issue causing some members to have problems finding previously-purchased content or purchasing new content. Stay tuned, and thanks for your patience.”
There is no ETA on when the issue would be resolved, nor was there a reason for the outage. Hopefully, the connection issues will not last longer than a couple of hours, as many gamers are itching to get back online. We will be sure to update our readers as we hear more information.
