Firaxis Games, the developer behind the XCOM franchise, has announced that XCOM 2 will not be releasing this year.
Reflected on their website, XCOM 2 has been moved from a November release to February 5th, 2016. The developers behind the game said, “With XCOM 2, we want to have more depth, more replayability, and more investment in your soldiers and this extension will give us the time we need to deliver on our promise to you.”
Unfortunately, we have yet to heard a release date of the MAC and Linux versions of the game. We will keep you updated as we hear more information.
