Original: Playtonic Game’s Yooka-Laylee is said to take up a minuscule 2.9 GB of hard drive space, leaving plenty of room for other titles on your hard drive real estate.
The information was gathered through PurePlaystation.com, who reports that the game is only 2.9 GB in size on the Playstation 4 version of the game. There is no confirmation if Yooka-Laylee will be the same size across all other platforms, but hearing this information makes me hopeful that I won’t need to remove anything of my device for Playtonic’s new adventure.
Some games nowadays can take up to 130 GB of hard drive space, leaving your default 500 GB Playstation 4 or Xbox One bleeding for space. This adds up when you consider downloadable content and the multitude of titles a gamer would own.
Yooka-Laylee releases on April 11th, 2017 for the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC. The Nintendo Switch version of the game is slated for release later this year.
