Buckle in, Final Fantasy fans. We’ve got a doozy. Square Enix has announced the release of several of its best-selling Final Fantasy titles are finding a new home on Nintendo Switch and Xbox One.
“From exploring the expansive world of Ivalice in Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age®, to enjoying iconic scenes from Final Fantasy VII, IX and X / X-2 HD Remaster, fans will soon be able to play hallmark Final Fantasy titles anytime and anywhere,” the company said in a press release.
Both the Nintendo Switch and the Xbox One will be seeing those titles, in addition to Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD and World of Final Fantasy Maxima. The Nintendo Switch will also see the release of Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon EVERY BUDDY! and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition.
But the fun doesn’t stop there. PlayStation 4 fans of the series will see the release of World of Final Fantasy Maxima, Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon EVERY BUDDY!, and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition. PC users will be able to join in on the fun with World of Final Fantasy Maxima.

Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD is available today. World of Final Fantasy Maxima hits consoles on Nov. 6, with Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon EVERY BUDDY! later this winter. All other titles will be arriving in 2019.
