EA has announced today that a Deluxe Edition of the game Star Wars: Battlefront, which will unlock additional content for those looking to play it once it hits store shelves this November.
The news comes via EA’s official Twitter page which details the variety of unlockables found inside the Deluxe Edition. The Deluxe Edition includes an official in-game Han Solo replica DL44, an Ion grenade, Ion Shock Emote and a Ion torpedo launcher, to take care of the bigger enemy vehicles. If that hasn’t got you excited to bring the pain to those rebel scum, you will also get an exclusive fist pump emote to show your enemies they need to “get good.”
Through the chaos of storm troopers and rebels, the vast and detailed background of Hoth, Sullust, Endor and Tatooine are shown. What some people may not know though is that the planet of Jakku will also be included in the release of Star Wars: Battlefront and will be available to everyone who pre-orders the game. Jakku, which may be mistaken for the planet Tatooine, is a desert planet for scavengers and thieves shown in the upcoming movie, Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens, which will hit theaters on December 18, 2015.
Star Wars: Battlefront will be available on Nov. 17, 2015 and will launch for the Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC. For those lucky Star Wars fans who preorder a copy of the game, the planet of Jakku that we spoke of above will also be available free of charge, one week ahead of its release on December 1st, 2015
