Project CARS 3 has received its third content package in the form of the Power Pack DLC, which is now available for all players on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The Power Pack is accompanied by a launch trailer which shows off the four new vehicles on offer to players.
The Power Pack brings three legendary Japanese icons to Project CARS 3: the 1985 Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT Apex, the 2002 Nissan Silvia Spec-R Aero, and the 2020 Nissan 370Z. The pack also introduces the much-anticipated 2021 Nissan Z Proto, which makes its first video game appearance.
As with previous packs, the Power Pack includes a new free track for players: the Lake Valley Speedway located in Utah, USA. This is accompanied by race conversion kits for the new vehicles, 16 themed events, and unique customisation items.
Project CARS 3 is developed by Slightly Mad Studios and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It is the third instalment in the franchise and has been called the spiritual successor to Need for Speed: Shift by Slightly Mad Studios CEO and Founder, Ian Bell.
The game continues the legacy of the previous instalments by incorporating dynamic weather effects and a day/night cycle, allowing for extreme weather conditions. Project CARS 3 is also the first time that the series has introduced performance and visual customisation for your vehicle, giving the player the option to take their first ride all the way to the top.
The Project CARS 3 Power Pack is now available alongside the Legends Pack and Style Pack. The fourth and final Electric Pack releases in spring 2021, adding new cars and customisation items.
