With Rare having a spot on Xbox + Bethesda Showcase at E3 2021, they showed off a trailer for the upcoming update for Sea of Thieves! The new trailer for Sea of Thieves shows off a plethora of new content coming to the game, including multiple characters from Pirates of The Caribbean!
With the likes of Captain Jack Sparrow, Joshamee Gibbs and Davy Jones making appearances in the trailer; this new update has tons of new content for players to enjoy! This is a crossover that was inevitable from the start!
A Pirates Life For Me
The trailer showcased multiple new enemies, Bloodthirsty ghost pirates and half crab half-man looking, creatures! were shown. Most notable is the arrival of the Flying Dutchman, Davy Jones’ ship, and it attacks the crew’s ship.
A new location appears to be in the update as the Sea of The Damned will now possibly be an explorable area. This place is only available during respawn after you die; so it will be fascinating to see how it looks in an open-world setting.
The new update also brings a new open-world story for players to enjoy. As Sparrow seems to have brought darkness with him as he holds a stolen treasure. It is likely that players explore the Sea of The Damned and help Sparrow; as they deal with the darkness that has followed them.
