Since November 2011, Elder Scrolls: Skyrim has been remastered and re-released several times. Skyrim even got an Alexa version that works. So where else will this long-winded game go but to family game night?
Introducing Skyrim: The Adventure Game
Teaming up with Modiphius Entertainment, Skyrim: The Adventure Game tries to bring the vast gameplay to your kitchen table. Choose from 6 different races and equip your character with weapons, armour, and spells. Visit familiar locals and undertake evolving quests in your attempt to save Skyrim.
Play through two campaigns spanning 25 years, all broken down into six chapters. Travel the wilderness looking for side quests, ruins, and treasures. Battle familiar Skyrim foes from Draugr, Dragons, Spiders, Constructs, and Daedra. Your decisions during your gameplay will change how the story turns out.
Skyrim is a 1-4 cooperative adventure game where players work together to keep the land free. Protect strongholds from monsters while exploring dungeons, trying to level up your character. Upgrade and enchant you and your allies to better protect the land and deal with those that want to harm.
Draw Your Cards
There are two different ways to move the story along, and they are both by drawing cards. Main Quest cards drive the story forward, while Personal Quest cards can only be drawn after exploring. Some quests give you a choice at the end, whether you pass or fail, that will chain to another quest to create a branching story. Failing a quest could mean you must take away the next card in the deck, which will drastically change the story you are telling.
Choose the weapon or spell that you feel most comfortable with and attack. Just be careful because the enemies will scale to your level. However, the more formidable the enemy, the better the rewards so it might be worth the danger.
