Publisher Neon Doctrine and developer Baroque Decay have announced that Yuppie Psycho: Executive Edition is now available worldwide on PC, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox Series X&S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch!
Yuppie Psycho tells the story of Brian Pasternack, a naive and fresh-faced newbie to one of the largest corporations currently on the scene- Sintracorp. Brian is nervous and eager to make a good impression and the most out of this opportunity to begin climbing the corporate ladder. However, Brian often feels inadequate compared to his new peers, who have more experience, money, and sophistication than him.
The game combines puzzles, time management, life simulation, adventure, and horror as Brian quickly discovers more to this corporate setting than meets the eye. Brian must complete his daily contract work and navigate puzzles in a nightmarish alternate version of the office controlled by the mysterious witch- all during his regular working hours!
Yuppie Psycho: Executive Edition is a newly upgraded and extended way of experiencing the original Yuppie Psycho, released in 2019 to favourable reviews. The new Executive Edition not only enhances the original content but includes new side quests and further fleshes out the climactic final chapter of the game’s narrative, leaving players with a more fulfilling finale. The release of the Executive Edition also marks Yuppie Psycho’s premiere on the Nintendo Switch, making it more accessible to many, particularly those preferring a handheld or more flexible gameplaying experience.
This is a worthwhile motivation to revisit the game for anyone who has previously played Yuppie Psycho, but also a more polished and perfected introduction to anyone who has not yet experienced the game. The Executive Edition also does not sell at an increased price point, making it quite the bargain to experience an expanded version of the game at no extra cost.
Yuppie Psycho: Executive Edition is now available on PC, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox Series X&S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
