Amid a dividing controversy, the newest game set in the Wizarding World is in public hands. Hogwarts Legacy is now available from developer Avalanche Software and publisher Portkey Games (a Warner Bros. Games label).
Those who purchased the Digital Deluxe edition have been granted a 72-hour early access period starting on February 7th. As of Midnight February 10th in your local time zones, the Standard Edition will have officially launched on PS5 and XBox Series S/X. However, PC players will have to wait till 10 am to gain access to their copies of the Standard Editon.
Hogwarts Legacy Details
Players will begin their adventure at Hogwarts, set in the 1800s. Creating your character, receiving your wand, and getting sorted into your house are only the beginning. Attend classes, befriend and ride various magical beasts, and explore the school grounds and other well-known locations. Learn to make potions and powerful spells, both offensive and defensive. Maybe even make friends with other students.
The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will be released on April 4th, 2023. However, anyone wanting to play the game on the Nintendo Switch will have to wait till July 25th, 2023. Keep an eye out for our review of Hogwarts Legacy, coming in the next few days!
